Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the RentACarOnCall website and services. RentACarOnCall operates as an independent rental booking assistance platform and acts as an intermediary between customers and third-party car rental providers. By using our website or submitting a rental request, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of our services.

Eligibility & Driver Requirements

• The primary driver must meet the minimum age requirements set by the rental provider (typically 21 years or older; 25 for certain vehicle categories).
• A valid, government-issued driver’s license held for at least one (1) year is required.
• A valid credit or debit card in the driver’s name is required for payment and security deposit.
• Young driver fees may apply for drivers under the age of 25.
• International renters may be required to present a passport and, where applicable, an International Driving Permit.

Bookings & Payments

All reservations are subject to vehicle availability and confirmation by the rental provider. Pricing, deposits, taxes, and fees are determined by the provider and will be disclosed prior to confirmation. Payment or a booking deposit may be required at the time of reservation. Optional add-ons such as insurance upgrades, GPS, or child seats may be offered at additional cost.

Rental Period & Vehicle Use

By accepting a rental, you agree to:

• Return the vehicle on the agreed date, time, and location, in substantially the same condition.
• Use the vehicle only for lawful purposes and in accordance with the rental agreement.
• Refrain from smoking inside the vehicle and follow pet and passenger restrictions set by the provider.
• Be responsible for fuel costs, tolls, parking charges, traffic violations, and fines.
• Understand that late returns, excessive mileage, or damage may result in additional charges.

Insurance, Deposits & Liability

Insurance coverage is governed by the rental provider’s policies. Basic liability coverage may be included, while optional Collision Damage Waivers (CDW) or supplemental protection may be offered at additional cost. Renters are responsible for any loss, damage, or theft not covered by insurance. A refundable security deposit may be authorized on your payment card.

Cancellations, Changes & Refunds

Cancellation and refund policies vary by rental provider and booking type. In general, cancellations made more than forty-eight (48) hours before the scheduled pickup time may qualify for a refund, while late cancellations or no-shows may result in partial or full charges. Modification requests are subject to availability and may incur fees.

Limitation of Liability

RentACarOnCall does not own, operate, or control rental vehicles and is not responsible for the actions, services, or policies of third-party rental providers. To the maximum extent permitted by law, RentACarOnCall shall not be liable for vehicle issues, accidents, delays, personal injury, property damage, or indirect or consequential losses arising from a rental transaction.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page, and continued use of our website or services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
